HOW TO PLAY

  1. BURNOUT: hold SPACE to spin the tires in the water. Hot tires grip better!
  2. STAGE: let go of SPACE and the car rolls to the line. Then tap B to bump forward until both little yellow stage lights come on.
  3. WAIT for the lights: yellow, yellow, yellow… GREEN!
  4. GO: press SPACE on green and HOLD it.
  5. SHIFT: press ↑ when the shift lights flash BLUE. (↓ shifts down.)
  6. WIN: get to the finish line first. Lower ET = faster!
PRO TIP — Transbrake: once staged, hold T (transbrake) and SPACE. The car stays put while the engine revs. Let go of T on green to launch harder!
CAREER — look after your engine: every pass wears it a little. Bouncing off the rev limiter, shifting down at high RPM and big boost or nitrous wear it a lot. Freshen it in the SHOP before it blows up!
Too early = slow. Too late = bouncing off the rev limiter (slow!). Leave before green = RED LIGHT = you lose.
