2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra Whipple Crusher W185AX 3.0L Supercharger Upgrade Kit

This Whipple Crusher W185AX 3.0L twin-screw supercharger system is purpose-built for the 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra (Terminator) 4.6L supercharged, supporting boost levels approaching 30 psi with the right supporting components — a tuner-style upgrade for custom combinations, not a fixed power-level system. Every system is engineered, machined, and assembled in-house at Whipple's Fresno, California headquarters as a complete, matched package — not an assortment of parts pieced together.

Whipple's 5th-generation Crusher W185AX 3.0L twin-screw supercharger features an updated rotor profile and high-flow housing, and replaces the factory Eaton unit outright. It includes a 132mm Roval Blade throttle body and a 123mm slot-style MAF cold air intake. A billet discharge plate provides more plenum area and a better radius for even air distribution across the intercooler core, and the system is capable of supporting close to 30 psi with the right supporting components. Billet aftermarket fuel rails are required for higher-boost setups (not included).

This is a tuner-style upgrade for serious custom combinations — it does not include tuning or fuel system components. On a stock engine, the factory fuel system and PCM are acceptable for roughly 13 psi.

Emissions status: no current CARB Executive Order number was found published for this specific kit as of our research date — verify current emissions compliance with Whipple before selling into California or other CARB-regulated states.
