2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra Whipple W140AX 2.3L Supercharger Upgrade Kit (Aftermarket Oval Throttle Body)

This Whipple W140AX 2.3L twin-screw supercharger system is purpose-built for the 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra (Terminator) 4.6L supercharged, supporting roughly 8-25 psi of boost depending on supporting modifications; the complete bolt-on configuration covers a 13 psi setup with no engine or PCM changes required on an otherwise-stock vehicle. Every system is engineered, machined, and assembled in-house at Whipple's Fresno, California headquarters as a complete, matched package — not an assortment of parts pieced together.

Identical to our stock-throttle-body W140AX 2.3L kit, but configured for customers running an aftermarket oval throttle body (including Whipple's own billet elliptical mechanical options). A CAD-designed air inlet and discharge path plus a billet oversized bypass valve support boost levels from roughly 8 to 25 psi. Internally lubricated, with no oil pan tapping required.

The factory fuel system and PCM are acceptable for roughly 13 psi on a stock engine; higher boost needs custom PCM calibration and supporting upgrades. Tuning, fuel system, throttle body, and cold air components are not included unless noted.

Emissions status: no current CARB Executive Order number was found published for this specific kit as of our research date — verify current emissions compliance with Whipple before selling into California or other CARB-regulated states.
