This Whipple Gen 6 W185AX 3.0L twin-screw supercharger system is purpose-built for the 2016-2020 Ford Shelby GT350 / GT350R 5.2L flat-plane-crank V8, delivering up to 875 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel on 93-octane fuel. Every system is engineered, machined, and assembled in-house at Whipple's Fresno, California headquarters as a complete, matched package — not an assortment of parts pieced together.
A billet 132mm Roval electronic throttle body and a high-flow inlet feed the Gen 6 W185AX 3.0L supercharger, producing the highest peak output of any 50-state legal kit Whipple builds for the Mustang platform. Whipple's patented dual intercooler, dual-pass technology and a massive heat exchanger with high-flow pump keep the flat-plane-crank 5.2L cool under hard use, and a self-contained, oversized oil system adds durability. Billet fuel rails and high-flow injectors supply the extra fuel this output level demands.
An HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool with Whipple calibration support is included, and spark plugs are supplied with the kit.
