BPS 2018+ Mustang GT VCT Actuator Delete (Sold in pairs)
Racing Use Only, Not Legal for Road Use
If you are locking out the cams on a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Coyote, you need these. It isn't optional and it isn't a dress-up part — the VCT actuators have to come out, and the openings they leave have to be closed properly.
These are a direct replacement, machined from 6061-T6 and black anodized, with stainless hardware included. Sold in pairs, which is what one engine takes.
Features:
- CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum
- Black anodized finish
- Stainless hardware included
- Direct replacement
- Sold in pairs
Fits: 2018 and newer Mustang GT — Gen 3 and Gen 4 Coyote.
The full 2018+ lockout takes three parts, not one. This closes the actuator openings. You also need VCT lockouts (EN019), which are the mechanical delete, and VCT block-offs (EN008), which fill the four valve cover openings the solenoids leave behind. Those are different holes from these, so on a Gen 3 or Gen 4 engine you need both block-off parts.
And once the cams are locked, the load on the secondary guides goes up — see secondary chain guides (EN045). Cheaper to do while the front cover is already off.
Not sure what your generation takes? Coyote timing by generation: what actually interchanges.
