Talk to us before you order if there is any doubt about fitment. This engine family changes more than people expect between generations, and a ten minute phone call is cheaper than an engine on a stand waiting for the right part.

What to have ready

If you are calling about fitment, these three things answer most questions in the first minute:

• Year and chassis — not just the engine. A 2026 Mustang and a 2021 F-150 are both "Gen 4" and they do not take the same timing chain arms.
• What has already been changed — cams locked out, blower swapped, rev limiter raised, power steering converted. These are what usually decide which part you need.
• The part number if you have one — ours run EN, P, F, A, U and LC series and are listed on every product page.
