BPS Front Cylinder Head Coolant Adapters (2011-2026 Mustang)
Racing Use Only, Not Legal for Road Use
Dry deck a Coyote and the coolant has to leave the front of the heads somewhere. These billet adapters replace the factory coolant connections at the front of each cylinder head with a threaded ORB port, so the hose runs where the build needs it instead of where Ford put it.
They are also the tidy answer on an engine that is not dry decked but has outgrown the factory arrangement: a turbo car with nothing left for room at the front of the engine, or any build where the coolant plumbing has to be routed around headers or a front mount.
The two sides are not the same size. Order the fittings accordingly:
- Driver side accepts a -16ORB adapter fitting, and reuses the factory gasket, which is not included
- Passenger side accepts a -12ORB adapter fitting
Features:
- CNC machined billet, hard black anodized
- Stainless steel hardware included
- Sold per side, or as a driver plus passenger pair
- Machined in Napierville, Quebec
Fitment and part numbers:
| Head casting | Driver side | Passenger side | Pair |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2011-2014 Coyote | EN011DRI11 | EN011PAS11 | EN011PD11 |
| 2015-2026 Coyote | EN011DRI15 | EN011PAS15 | EN011PD15 |
The 2015 adapter carries straight through the rest of the run, so Gen 2, Gen 3 and Gen 4 Mustang all take the same part — 2015 to 2026, including Darkhorse. The only split is at the 2015 head casting change.
The split is by head casting, not by the year on the registration. On a swap or a used long block those are not always the same number, so order against the heads that are actually on the engine.
F-150: Mustang fitment is confirmed to 2026. If you are working on a 2021 or newer Gen 4 F-150, call before you order — the Gen 4 truck already diverges from the Mustang elsewhere in the engine, and we would rather check than have you find out with the front of the motor apart.
What else you will need. The adapters are ports, not fittings. Add Low-Pro Series ORB to AN adapter fittings in -16 for the driver side and -12 for the passenger side, plus spare O-rings if you expect to take the plumbing apart more than once. The driver side gasket is a Ford part and is not supplied.
If you are planning the coolant routing from scratch, our Coyote coolant flow and fitting guide covers where the water actually goes and which connections matter.
