BPS Billet Valve Cover Inserts (1993-2014 4.6L & 5.4L Modular)
Racing Use Only, Not Legal for Road Use
The factory pieces in a modular valve cover are functional and they look it. These are billet replacements, machined to consistent size so a set of twenty goes in without one sitting proud of the rest.
New seals are supplied, so nothing gets reused. Stainless cap screws are supplied for the same reason: the originals are usually the worst looking thing on a cover you just cleaned up.
Installation is hand tools and no modification. Most people do it during a rebuild or a refresh while the covers are already off the engine.
What is in the box
- 20 billet aluminum inserts
- 20 seals
- 20 stainless steel cap screws
Available in hard black anodized or polished aluminum.
Fitment. If the engine is a 1993-2014 Ford 4.6L or 5.4L modular, these fit. The inserts are common across the family rather than specific to one car, which covers a great deal more than the GT500 they are usually bought for:
- SN95 and S197 Mustang GT
- 2003-2004 Terminator Cobra
- Mach 1 and Bullitt
- 2007-2014 Shelby GT500
- Any other 4.6L or 5.4L modular in that year range

Dressing up a Terminator? See the billet coil covers. On a GT500, the lightweight pulley package is the other visible change at the front of the engine.
