Fitment first: these work with the newer style alternator only, 2010-2014. If the car is an early GT500 still running the original alternator, this bracket set is not the part.

Pull the OEM oil cooler off a GT500 and the alternator loses its mounting. These billet CNC machined brackets put it back in the stock location, so the belt routing, the pulley alignment and the accessory drive stay exactly as they were.

The upper bracket locates on the OEM spring pin, which is what keeps the alignment repeatable rather than relying on bolt clearance, and it reuses the factory bolts. The lower bracket mounts to the front of the engine and needs longer bolts than the factory ones; stainless steel hardware is included for it.

Features:

  • Billet CNC machined, black anodized
  • Retains the alternator in the factory location
  • Upper bracket located by the OEM spring pin, reuses factory bolts
  • Stainless steel hardware supplied for the lower bracket
  • Machined in Napierville, Quebec

What else the job needs. Deleting the oil cooler leaves the two coolant hoses that fed it. You either block them off, or fit a lower radiator hose without those provisions. Sort that out before the car is apart, because it is the step that turns a two hour job into a weekend.
