BPS Coyote VCT Lockouts (Gen 1 to Gen 4)
Racing Use Only, Not Legal for Road Use
CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum lockouts for Gen 1 through Gen 4 Coyote. Does not include hardware.

Optional Hardware
GEN 1:
- ARP outer bolts (intake & exhaust)
- Grade 12.9 centre bolts (intake & exhaust)
GEN 2:
- ARP outer bolts (intake only)
- Grade 12.9 centre bolts (intake & exhaust)
Exhaust outer bolts are left hand thread - reuse the OE bolts.
GEN 3 & GEN 4:
- ARP outer bolts (intake & exhaust)
- Grade 12.9 centre bolts (intake only)
Exhaust centre bolt - reuse the OE bolt.
Gen 3 and Gen 4 use the same lockout and the same hardware combination.

The lockout is one part of the job. Pulling the solenoids leaves four openings in the valve covers, and the VCT block-offs (EN008) fill those. On 2018 and newer Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines the VCT actuator deletes (EN041) close a different set of openings, so those engines need both. Once the cams are locked a standalone ECU only needs one cam sensor, and the remaining ports take cam sensor block-offs (EN007).
Locked cams also load the secondary drive harder than stock. The factory plastic secondary chain guides (EN045) are the first thing to go, and the heavy duty secondary chains (EN015) belong in the same teardown.
