Mandrel Bend Cut Jig

Cut mandrel bends at the exact angle you need, with a square, round end every time. This two-piece PETG cut jig clamps around a 90° mandrel bend for exhaust, intake, intercooler and turbo tubing. Printed to order and ready to use, no hardware needed.

How it works
Slide the stop tab into the slot for the angle you want, push the bend into the jig until it butts against the tab, then cut flush with the face of the jig. Every slot sits on a true radial line from the bend's center, so the cut is square to the tube and the end stays round. Clamp the jig in a horizontal bandsaw vise or a bench vise. The two halves close with a small gap between them, so the vise squeezes the jig onto the tube and the bend can't move while you cut.

• One jig per tube OD and centerline radius (CLR), pick yours from the options
• 1D = CLR equal to the tube OD, 1.5D = CLR of 1.5 times the OD
• 1.25D also available on the 3 1/2" and 4" sizes
• Halves close with a 1 mm gap so the vise clamps the tube
• Stop slots every 5°
• On the smaller sizes (1D 1 1/2" to 2 1/4", and 1 1/2" 1.5D) the slots are every 10° to keep the jig strong
• Includes both jig halves and the stop tab
• Printed alignment pins key the two halves together
