Optic Armor Race Windows (2015-2027 Mustang)

Optic Armor polycarbonate race windows for the 2015-2027 Ford Mustang, formed to factory curvature for a proper fit. Every window is hard-coated on both sides with Optic Armor's abrasion- and chemical-resistant coating, so it stays clear and cleans with ordinary glass cleaner. Replacing the glass front and rear saves over 50 lb.
Each window is sold individually. Pick the location, the type and tint, and the thickness.
Oversized vs. Drop-In Black Outs (DIBO)
- Oversized windows are cut roughly 1" larger than the factory opening, with no printed border. They are meant to be bonded or fastened over the opening and trimmed to your install.
- Drop-In Black Outs (DIBO) are cut to the factory opening with a screen-printed black border, and install exactly like a glass window using Optic Armor adhesive. Every drop-in needs 2 tubes of Optic Armor adhesive (not included).
Tint
- Clear
- 40% Lite Tint, available on all windows
- 20% Dark Tint, available on rear, door and quarter windows (not on the windshield)
Thickness
- 1/8": lightest. Optic Armor recommends no thinner than 3/16" for a windshield.
- 3/16": the usual choice. Matches most factory glass thickness.
- 1/4": stiffest, for high-speed cars.
Bracing: Optic Armor recommends bracing a 3/16" windshield on any car running 140 mph or more, or stepping up to 1/4". Drop-ins are tested to 150 mph with adhesive alone; above that, fasten the window at specific points.
Door windows ship as a 24" x 52" blank formed to the door curvature, so you can cut them for whatever install style you run (fixed, sliding, lift-out). One door blank fits either side.

- USA: ships direct from Optic Armor to you. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
- Canada: pickup at our shop in Napierville, QC. Checkout charges only the Optic Armor shipping to our warehouse. Need it delivered? Place the order as a pickup and we will quote you the shipping from Napierville separately.
