Reluctor and Sensor Compatibility

Choosing the right reluctor and sensor setup is essential.

• 2011-2017 GT, 2015+ GT350, 2020+ GT500: These models require the Gen 1 style reluctor (36-1 wheel) and crank sensor.
• 2018+ GT: This model exclusively uses the Gen 3 style reluctor and crank sensor. Ensure you have the correct components for your setup.

The Rear Main Seal Cover fits any Coyote block, regardless of year, and adapts to your chosen sensor and reluctor combination. That includes Gen 4.

If you are moving to a standalone ECU as part of the same build, the factory cam sensor ports usually end up unused: cam sensor block-offs seal them with an OEM style O-ring, sold in a set of three so one sensor stays functional.
