This Whipple Gen 6 W235ax 3.8L twin-screw supercharger system is purpose-built for the 2020-2022 Ford Shelby GT500 5.2L Predator, delivering up to 1,035 horsepower on 93-octane fuel at 16 psi with an otherwise 100% stock engine and exhaust (Whipple does not publish a torque figure for this kit). Every system is engineered, machined, and assembled in-house at Whipple's Fresno, California headquarters as a complete, matched package — not an assortment of parts pieced together.
This is a full Gen 6 W235ax 3.8L twin-screw supercharger engineered specifically for the factory GT500 platform — about 43% more displacement than the factory 2.65L roots unit it replaces. A billet 132mm throttle body pre-set with factory electronics and a 145mm high-flow cold air intake round out the airflow path. A patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler with dual 1" inlet port capacity manages the added heat load, and motor mount brackets provide clearance for the larger 3.8L unit under the stock hood. Whipple markets this as the first and only 50-state legal supercharger upgrade for the 2020-2022 GT500 platform.
A Tomahawk flash tool with calibration support is included; on 93-octane fuel with a 100% stock engine and exhaust, the system is capable of up to 1,035 horsepower at 16 psi.
